The Lodge Report: News From The Slopes
Friends Separated In Lift Line Reunite In Emotional Reunion 5 Minutes Later At Top Of Chair
In an emotional story from the lift line, a group of skiers reunited at the top of the lift after being separated when one friend couldn’t keep up, and was pushed away from his friends like a rockhopper penguin left out of a huddle.
“I sat by myself, on the chair, behind my friends, for 4-5 minutes, which felt like hours, following them like a lost puppy while they joked around and had a great time, I’ll never get those minutes back,” said the left-behind skier as he thanked his lucky stars to see his friends convene at the top of the lift.
“Once I saw them waiting, it was such a relief, but I do feel a little left out; it seems they formed a tighter bond on the chair without me,” said the skier as his friends got matching tattoos saying Lift 32.
“Anyway, I hope it never happens again,” as the skiers got in line, and he once again was shuffled behind them when ski school cut him off in line.
Mountain's Spring Season Riding Entirely On One Trail Called Peppy Pinecone
The mountain is hanging on by a mere thread after the only run with snow cover, a wimpy bunny slope named Peppy Pinecone, remains 100% open to shred.
“Peppy Pinecone! Everyone, head to Peppy Pinecone!” yelled mountain staff like they were selling hot dogs at a sports game, “Peppy Pinecone’s the trail you want!” continued staff herding skiers and boarders like sheep onto the only trail with a coating of snow left on it.
“We have one more month to go, but literally everything is riding on Peppy Pinecone to keep this place open!” said frantic mountain staff as they dumped coolers of ice cubes onto the trail to keep it cold.
“More ice!” yelled staff as they placed oscillating fans around the trail to cool it down, “our survival depends on it!”
SNOW REPORT ❄️

Skier Places Skis On Lodge Rack, Knocks Down 1,000 Skis Like Dominoes
In mountain mayhem, a skier walked right up to the ski rack and delicately attempted to lean their skis between two snowboards before thousands, possibly millions, of skis cascaded down like a life-size set of dominoes.
Skiers and boarders were seen jumping from lodge decks to aid their fallen skis, where the shaken culprit stood there like a moose in high beams, mouth agape, in utter disbelief as skis and boards continued to clack to the ground like domino tiles.
Skiers gathered up their skis like they were baby chicks being returned to a nest, while the culprit attempted an apology, which quickly led to a mob just yelling “Scram! Why don’t you just get outta here before you wreck another billion skis!”
The culprit was seen entering the lift line, where he bumped into a snowboarder, causing every single person in line to fall over.
Expert Skier Who Falls On Green Circle, Pushes To Have Trail Upgraded To Black Parallelogram
An expert skier who wiped out on Peppy Pinecone is calling for officials to update the difficulty level from a green circle to a black parallelogram.
The skier was descending with relative ease before his ski caught a pinecone, at which point he spun around like a car skidding on ice before doing a split, shredding his ski pants like a banana peel, and eventually spinning across the trail like a helicopter attempting to land in a snowstorm.
“Officials need to revisit this trail and update it…to the appropriate difficulty-level shape! Which is harder than a green circle that’s for sure!” said the skier as he tried to state his case without admitting to himself he wiped out on Peppy Pinecone.
“It should at least be a triple black diamond, or a parallelogram, maybe even a hexagon, or maybe even a black decagon,” continued the skier in complete disbelief that he wiped out on the easiest trail in history.
